Therapeutic Parenting In Residential Child Care
A specialist therapeutic model developed to support residential practitioners in delivering trauma-informed, relationship-based care across everyday interactions. What We Provide

Our Approach
TPRCC recognises that what a child needs from a practitioner can change from moment to moment. The different strands of the model continually oscillate in response to the child’s needs, guiding practitioners through understanding trauma and history, creating structure and boundaries, attuning and connecting before correcting, managing trauma responses and scaffolding growth. This supports practitioners to respond consciously and consistently, helping children develop a stronger sense of self and lasting resilience.
